Mayor's Office of Caracas shared the schedule for these Carnivals 2025 (more details)

Through the social network Instagram, the Mayor 's Office of Caracas shared the program of the wide variety of activities that will take place at these International Tourist Carnivals Happy with Peace and Joy 2025.

It is important to note that these activities began last Saturday, February 8, with the parade and the Ruta del Guateque with the Carnival Cry. At the same time, it continued with the presentation of the candidates for youth queen, godmothers and godparents last Friday, February 14.

In this regard, the festive agenda will continue with the following activities:

  • Wednesday, February 26: The festival will kick off with a Children's Caravan and the coronation of the Children's Queens of Caracas at 10 pm in Plaza Morelos and Plaza de la Juventud. During this date and March 1, 80 recreational activities will take place with troupes throughout the Venezuelan capital.
  • Thursday, February 27: The Election of the Godmother and Godfather of Carnival will be held at the United Nations Park at 6 p.m., marking the official start of the main activities.
  • Friday, February 28: The month will close with two important events, on the one hand, the Election of the Carnival Queen will be held at the United Nations Park at 6pm. Meanwhile, the “Retumba Caracas” event will take place in Caricuao at the same time.
  • Saturday, March 1: “Vacila Caracas” will take place in the Tourism Development Zone “La Candelaria Awaits You” at 4pm. The “Retumba Caracas” will also be held in El Valle at 6 p.m. Also, during the day there will be a Community Carnival in places such as the Bicentennial Monument, Plaza Candelaria, Plaza Bolívar and Mirador Boyacá.
  • Sunday, March 2: There will be central events at Paseo Los Próceres and the “Retumba Caracas” is included in Sucre parish, Calle El Ejercito.
  • Monday, March 3: Bolivar Avenue will be dressed in colors starting at 2 pm to celebrate the Carnival Parade.
  • Saturday, March 8: The Eighth of Carnival will take place. A Mountain Biking Ticket will take place at 8 am at La Fuga BikePark. As well as the award ceremony at 2 pm in the Plaza de la Juventud.
