With an emotional countdown, vibrant
live music and a dazzling special light show, the mayor of the Cristóbal Rojas municipality, Yuhismar Hernández,
performed, in Plaza Bolívar de
Charallave, together with the Tuyera families, the third Christmas lighting for peace in Venezuela.
The mayor highlighted the importance of this event
as a call for peace and unity in the country; “today we turn on these
lights not only to adorn our square, but to ignite the flame of
hope and peace in the heart of every family in Charallave. May this Christmas be full of unity, prosperity and
a lot of joy for all,” he said.
The event brought together hundreds of families from the
Valles del Tuy axis to welcome the end of the year festivities, who
enjoyed an “atmosphere filled with joy and spirit as Christmas
lights transformed the city's main public space into a stage of color and hope”.
“In this way, the municipal government of Cristóbal
Rojas formally begins holiday activities, encouraging the
recovery of public spaces for the enjoyment and encounter of its
citizens,” said the Bolivarian Government of Miranda.
