Mayor's Office of Ocumare de la Costa de Oro intensifies environmental sanitation days

With a firm commitment to ensuring clean spaces suitable for living well for its own and visitors, the mayor's office of the Ocumare de la Costa de Oro municipality in Aragua has a comprehensive environmental sanitation plan in place.

Through this sustained effort, between 15 and 20 tons of solid waste are collected daily in the different parishes of the coastal jurisdiction, said Mayor Wilmer Leal, quoted in a local press release.

This environmental sanitation process prioritizes collection and cleaning in tourist areas and areas with the highest commercial influx, serving areas of beaches, embankments and local businesses.

The objective is to preserve the natural attractiveness of the municipality and consolidate it as one of the most preferred recreational destinations in the Aragüeña region, thus promoting economic reactivation and sustainable tourism.

In the same way, public service crews maintain a permanent deployment in the residential sectors of the municipality. These actions effectively respond to the needs of the community, improving public health conditions and ensuring that each sector has a continuous service for garbage collection and maintenance of common areas.

These tasks are part of the strategic urban management plan focused on sustainable development, ecosystem care and the social well-being of the inhabitants. Leal reiterated the call for citizen awareness to keep spaces clean and actively collaborate in the proper disposal of waste, consolidating together a cleaner, more orderly and prosperous Gold Coast.
