The Mayor's Office of the Guaicaipura municipality, in Miranda state, activated the deployment of the Risk Mitigation Plan 2026, aimed at dealing with emergencies associated with natural disasters resulting from the global climate crisis.

In this regard, the mayor of the Guaicaipura municipality, Farith Fraija, in the 360º program, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, said that this deployment seeks to strengthen local response capacity and guarantee the protection of communities in the face of possible contingencies.

He stated that the town currently has 9 homicides, a figure that represents a reduction of 95% compared to 2013.

He also highlighted that the Community Peace Quadrants constitute one of the main strategies developed by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, to microzone security areas.

He stressed that this mechanism has made it possible to optimize the work being done in the area of citizen protection, by making care and approach more efficient in each territory.

Fraija assured that every effort has been made to strengthen citizen security policy in the jurisdiction.

On the other hand, he stressed that prevention and surveillance actions have been increased to ensure the peace of mind of the inhabitants of Los Teques and their parishes.

In this direction, he specified that his management has been dedicated to making the city more humanized, as well as to improving urban infrastructure, in order to raise the quality of life of the inhabitants of the municipality.

He also pointed out that these comprehensive transformation efforts include the recovery of public spaces and the optimization of basic services for the enjoyment of the Mirandina family.
