Meeting “Let's Sing Together at Christmas” will be held this Friday in Los Próceres

The Ministry of Popular Power for Culture invited the public to participate this Friday, December 5, in the meeting “Let's Sing Together at Christmas”, which will be held starting at 4:00 in the afternoon on Paseo Los Próceres in Caracas.

This activity, which is part of the Great Mission Viva Venezuela Mi Patria Querida, seeks to exalt the musical traditions of the Christmas season. In addition, it is the result of the sustained work of the Cultural Mission in communities, in coordination with promoters and parish leaders of culture.

For five months, singing workshops, theater and various preparatory exhibitions were held in the 299 Communes and Community Circuits of the capital, as part of the Concrete Agenda for Community Cultural Action.

For this reason, more than 1,500 boys and girls will be part of this meeting, in which a repertoire will be performed that includes emblematic pieces such as Niño Simón, Viva Venezuela, Fire to the Canyon and Prepare the Table. In addition, they will be joined by the participation of 200 donkeys and burriquitas.

“Let's Sing Together at Christmas” aspires to become a celebration that pays homage to the Christmas tradition and to the children and youth talent of Caracas, projecting community cultural work as a space for encounter, joy and hope.
