This Sunday, May 25, the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, emphasized that she exercised her right to vote in this great electoral process that is being held throughout the country to elect governors, deputies and deputies to the National Assembly and legislators of the Legislative Councils.

“I voted for peace, for joy and democracy in our country, on an election holiday that makes us visible to the world as a land of union and participation,” Meléndez said through his account on the social network Threads.

He also emphasized that the electoral process is quick and simple, while recognizing the personnel deployed in the voting centers that are at the service of the People.

Always with the responsibility and cordiality of all those who participate in the electoral centers,” he said and reaffirmed that this electoral process is “valuable for the present and the future of Venezuela.”

In addition, he called on all Venezuelans to come out and exercise their right to vote. “Venezuela is a land of peace, and voting is a fundamental tool for expressing our thoughts. If you haven't done so yet, vote too,” he said.
