Mérida is preparing for the swearing in of President Nicolás Maduro

The people of Merida took to the streets to defend the legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez and President Nicolás Maduro.

“We are preparing for the swearing in of President Nicolás Maduro with joy and peace as the people of Mérida characterize us,” said Carolina Arias.

In this regard, Arias stated that peace must reign throughout Venezuela, because it is a people that loves and defends its democracy.

For his part, Eduard Olivares said that he supports President Nicolás Maduro because he is a man who works for the country's development.

“The important thing is that Venezuela has a head of state who loves and defends his country even with his own life,” he said.
