Students from the CDCE José de los Santos Marquina State Labor Education Workshop, an institution that serves children and young people with disabilities in the state of Mérida, had the opportunity to experience science in a practical way during a physics workshop on forces and loads.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT), through interactive demonstrations, participants learned about charge as a property of objects that allows them to be attracted or repelled without physical contact.
The activity was organized by the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (FUNDACITE) in the region and is aligned with the National Scientific Seedbeds Program.
This type of activity seeks to bring science closer to young people and children, especially those with disabilities, in an accessible and stimulating way, encouraging their interest in scientific knowledge.
