For the last days of this year and beginning of January 2026, the expansion of the Metrobús service will begin in the state of Aragua, said the Deputy Minister of Land Transportation, Héctor Rojas Rodríguez.
The deputy minister, as reported by the Venezuelan News Agency, said that the decision was taken after the success of the pilot plan in Greater Caracas. “Soon, between the end of December and the first days of January, we will be launching Metrobús in the state of Aragua,” he said as part of the III Expo Transporte 2025 that is taking place in the state of Miranda.
Rojas Rodríguez explained that the expansion plan will be simultaneous in four or five states to cover the entire territory and highlighted the incorporation of entrepreneurs with new technologies for the development of surface and rail transport, road and asphalt infrastructure.
The official called on all companies and parts and parts factories in the different metalworking, metallurgical and plastic fields to join these initiatives to merge public and private action.
