Migration Colombia has not changed requirements for entering and leaving the country

The organization Migration Colombia, this Monday, March 03, clarified that the requirements for entering and leaving the country remain the same and that the entity “has not modified or updated the migratory regulations.”
The information was provided by this instance, on the social network X, in which he stressed that “this is only a reminder to travelers and air operators of the requirements for effective migratory control”.
Venezuelans entering the country must present a departure ticket, which can be air, land, sea or river, depending on the type of transport.
This measure applies to those who enter for short-term activities or in transit.
The agency recalled that the Venezuelan passport is valid even if it has expired, as long as it has not exceeded 10 years of expiration, in accordance with Resolution 2231 of 2021.

Passport (valid and valid or with an expiration of up to 10 years), Alien ID (issued by countries of the National Andean Community or Mercosur, or the current Temporary Residence Permit).
Finally, travelers must demonstrate financial solvency to carry out the activities they have declared upon entering the country.
The identity card is not a valid document for entry to Colombia.
It is also mentioned that they will not accept Venezuelans deported, expelled or denied admission by other countries and who attempt to enter Colombian territory, so “it will be verified that any foreign citizen complies with the established requirements.”
