MinAguas rehabilitates aqueducts in the municipality of Bolívar de Yaracuy‎

The Ministry of People's Water Power (MINAGUAS) delivered a shipment of supplies and equipment for the comprehensive rehabilitation of the Barlovento and Carabobo aqueducts, located in the Bolivar municipality of Yaracuy state.

The action responds to the immediate approach after the damages caused by the increase in river flow as a result of the intense rainfall recorded in the area, the ministry said.

The contribution included a total of 1,500 meters of 4-inch HDPE pipe, 14 4-inch quick joints and 17 6-inch diameter joints, a key material for repairing damaged sections and ensuring the operability of the network.

With the execution of these repair works, the supply of drinking water will be directly optimized for 1,055 families belonging to the Sierra Azul and Minas de Aroa Socialist Communes, which make up seven Community Councils of the entity.
