MINCYT organized a day in Puerto La Cruz to inspire children to learn about science

In an effort to inspire the next generation of scientists in Venezuela, the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (FUNDACITE) in the state of Anzoátegui, held a recreational day in Barrio Mariño, Juan Antonio Sotillo municipality, as part of the National Scientific Semilleros Program.
The activity, entitled Science Day, was held on the court of the Dr. Hernández Caballero Educational Unit, with the participation of 47 boys and girls from the Bahía de Pozuelos Commune in Revolution, reported the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT).
Participants were able to explore the fascinating world of microscopy, learning about the operation and parts of the microscope. In addition, they were introduced to the principles of light and energy with the introduction of the plasma lamp.
They also carried out chemistry experiments, with the help of the sponsors of FUNDACITE, who taught them that this discipline is a relevant and fun part of daily life.
