MINERVEN and the CVM train personnel in criminal responsibility and public property

Members of the board and coordinators of the General Mining Company of Venezuela (MINERVEN) and the Venezuelan Mining Corporation (CVM) completed the Criminal Responsibility in Public Asset Management workshop.

This is a program that seeks to reinforce the legal knowledge of those who exercise leadership and supervisory roles within the sector, details the regional press.

During the sessions, judges of the First Instance of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) explained the definition of the crime of corruption, analyzing the institutional and social repercussions generated by this practice.

The faculty emphasized individual ethical behavior as the key tool to prevent irregularities in administration. In the same way, they explained the regulatory principles of probity, discretion, impartiality and efficiency, stressing that caring for public goods represents an inescapable legal and institutional commitment for every official.

These actions are part of the strategy of the Ministry of People's Power for Ecological Mining Development and Basic Industries under the guidelines of the National Executive. The central objective focuses on consolidating extractive activity as a sustainable, responsible productive axis aligned with the economic interests of the Republic.
