Minister Alex Saab activated the Kariña Recovery Factory in Anzoátegui

The Ministry of Popular Power of Industries and National Production announced the operational activation of the Kariña Recovery Factory, S.A., a key plant of Motor Construction.
The International Center for Productive Investment (CIIP), indicates on its website, that this factory is located on the San José de Guanipa National Highway, in the Guara-Guara sector, in front of the National Experimental Polytechnic University of the Bolivarian Armed Forces (UNEFA), San Tomé, Freites municipality of the state of Anzoátegui.
The minister of this office and president of the CIIP, Alex Saab, reported that this factory “forms part of the new productive offensive being promoted by the Bolivarian Government to diversify the national industry, increase installed capacity and ensure that Venezuela produces, with its own talent, the metal structures that its development requires.”
The Kariña Factory has an area of 2,584 m², an installed capacity of 3,240 tons per year and an operating capacity of 1,680 tons, with 104 workers dedicated to the manufacture of structural components.
Initially, this factory was designed to transform disincorporated oil pipes into industrial profiles, the plant has been diversified and currently produces: Structural kits for houses of 72 m²; structures for modular warehouses (12 m x 24 m x 4 m); IPN and high-strength tubular profiles for construction.
Saab said that this production line will allow housing, agro-industrial, logistics and public infrastructure projects in the east of the country and in the rest of the country.
