Minister Cabello: Drainage work along the Pan-American axis minimized the impact of heavy rains in the area

The sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stressed that the effects caused by Tropical Wave 9 do not include Andean areas where the Bolivarian Government carried out pipeline work to prevent catastrophes such as those recorded in previous years.

“In the extraordinary work that was done to drain the Pan-American axis, in the state of Mérida, which includes the Vigía and Tovar area that was affected last time, this time there was nothing to regret thanks to the works done in Revolution because we do things as they should be and not to do them every three years,” he said.
