Minister Cabello highlights levels of security in the country: Venezuela does not reach 2 homicides per 100,000 inhabitants

The Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, during the relaunch of the Peace Quadrants in Caracas, reiterated that the comprehensive approach to security is the strengthening of the 7T plan, peace, sovereignty, security and empowerment of Popular Power.

“We are updating our more than 800 technological equipment for fiber-optic security cameras to be first-class and effective so that the Armed Forces, the National Guard, the Bolivarian National Police, and the Caracas Police, all working together with the People,” said Cabello at an activity with the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros.

In this regard, he stressed that hardly anyone can disturb the security of a Peace Quadrant that works hand in hand with the community. “They are the people who defend peace, if Venezuelans want something it's joy and tranquility.”

He stressed that peace and security cannot be a pipe dream in Venezuela “and today, president, we say it with satisfaction that Venezuela has not reached, at this moment, two homicides per 100,000 inhabitants; these numbers are extraordinary everywhere in the world, the right-wing media will not say it, but Venezuelans do feel it and know it.”
