Minister Cabello: In the course of 2025, 65,530 kilos of drugs have been seized

This Wednesday, December 3rd, the vice-president of the Policy, Public Security and Peace sector, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reported that in the course of 2025, “we have humbly seized 65,530 kilos of drugs, that is, 65 and a half tons.”

“Thanks to our aviation brothers, 418 aircraft have been neutralized since the law was passed in 2012,” he said.

In this sense, Cabello, his Con El Mazo Dando program, broadcast number 554, offered some figures “just this week”, specifically last Sunday, the 23rd, 289 kilos of marijuana were seized in the state of Amazonas; on Wednesday the 27th, 138 kilos of marijuana in Lara, as well as 90 kilos of marijuana in Falcón.

He also mentioned the seizure of “71 kilos of marijuana and 2.2 kilos of cocaine in Monagas state on the 27th.”

“Right now we're behind you... when you say that behind all those people is La Sayona, everyone says: 'Diosdado does invent it'. Let the New York Times get it out, then they're going to say it's true,” he said.
