Minister Cabello noted progress in the Care Plan for Citizens in Situations of Vulnerability

This Thursday, February 20, in the early hours of the morning, the Minister of Popular Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, took a tour to verify checkpoints and night patrols in the city of Caracas.

“Following instructions from President Nicolás Maduro, we are taking a walk around here in Caracas, with a task, which we have given to the team to the Deputy Ministry of Maximum Happiness, of the crime prevention teams, of the IDENNA police agencies,” he said.

After stating that no less than 170 people have been treated in one night alone, he argued that the objective is “to search for, capture and recover young people, people who are in street situations, the fact is that we find children”.

“It's a task that's not that simple, because many believe that when you approach it's to hurt them, but it's the same concept, it's not to hurt you, it's to protect children, teenagers, classmates in street situations, that there are already a significant number of them, who have been caught and are being cared for.”

In this context, the vice-president of the Policy, Public Security and Peace sector, commented that in the past few days, “Admiral Mendoza told me that one of the boys recognized him, thanks to the networks and they came to look for him, thanks to this night activity that we are doing.”

“We want everyone to be with their family, that no one is on the street, that no one is being exploited, used and that the right of boys and girls to be happy is respected,” he emphasized.

This tour is part of Minister Cabello's weekly visits to ensure the operation of these devices in the country.
