This Saturday, October 19, the Minister of Popular Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, once again confirmed that the members of the Public Security Organs owe themselves to the attention of the Venezuelan People, “always together with the People.”
“We belong to the People and we owe it to the People,” he said.
This was stated in Cumanacoa, the capital of the Montes municipality of Sucre state, where he supervised the reconstruction and recovery work for the damage caused last July due to the rains caused by the hit of hurricane Beryl.
During his tour, Cabello stopped at one of the checkpoints in the area and asked the officers on duty to approach his vehicle, with whom he spoke and issued instructions.
“The people have to feel that the police are their friends, they must understand that the police belong to them. You are from the People,” he emphasized.
The vice-president of the Politics, Public Security and Peace sector, also said that the People should feel safe with the police (...) not that they are afraid or that they wonder what will happen, no, no”,
“Pa'lante, take care, God bless you all,” he said.
