During the early morning tour of several areas of the Caracas metropolitan area, the Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, questioned the terror campaign that promotes opposition extremism to generate a climate of instability that does not exist in Venezuela.
“Threats will always be present. At this point, it seems that's all he has left; to threaten,” said the Vice President of Politics, Security and Peace, who highlighted the strength of the country's institutions to defend the peace of all Venezuelans.
After recalling attempts to violate the country's peace and sovereignty, such as the attempted invasion by Cúcuta led by the fugitive Juan Guaidó, he stressed that for the revolutionary Government “today things are much better”.
“ It's not just the Armed Forces anymore, this is the Armed Forces, the police and the people working together and they will continue to deceive their people,” he said.
He stressed that in these years of strengthening the popular-military-police fusion, “we got where we needed to go and the right wing knows it”, so he warned the sector that promotes violence that “if you try something, the answer will be overwhelming, brutal”.
