The Vice President of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted the work carried out by the Bolivarian Government, on instructions from the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, to guarantee the care of all people in situations of vulnerability.

During the night tour carried out early this Thursday morning, Cabello visited the service point set up by the Vice Ministry for Supreme Happiness, where care is provided to people in street situations.

“We were there in the command post of the care center for people in situations of vulnerability, for people who are on the street; girls, boys, older adults, adolescents, and they report that in a single night 170 cases have been treated, each case different from the previous one, each case more painful, but we have to face it because the best way to do is to do it,” he said.

He stressed that, as instructed by President Maduro, the goal is to ensure that not a single Venezuelan is left on the streets in a situation of abandonment.

“We are resuming that task that we know how to do, which is to attend to our colleagues, so that not a single boy or a single girl or a Venezuelan is left on the street in conditions of abandonment, in conditions of vulnerability, that is our task,” he emphasized.

He added that although “sometimes it is difficult” because these people believe that they will be harmed, he stressed that “the task is to convince them”.

“The same will always be our task, under any circumstances, in whatever situation they present,” he said.
