Minister Cabello: The comprehensive care they receive when they return to Venezuela is immediate

This Thursday, February 20, the vice-president of the sector for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reported that there can be talk of a method for receiving compatriots returning to Venezuela and the idea is to improve it progressively.

“The attention to them and their families is immediate,” he said at Maiquetía International Airport, where he received the CONVIASA flight, with a new group of 177 compatriots returning to the country through the Plan Back to the Fatherland.

Cabello commented that once the plane made landfall, he would go up to explain the procedure to them when arriving in Venezuelan territory.

“Therefore, to wish them all the luck in the world, to give them a message on behalf of President Nicolás Maduro, who has made this effort, that those who were in Guantánamo today are here in Venezuelan territory,” he said.

He also highlighted that Venezuelans who returned on past flights, “while they were in our custody, the days they were under medical examination and where they live, spoke with their family and were treated psychologically, because some may feel that the situation experienced may affect them.”

“Today they are all with their families and those who had accounts with the justice system are at the order of the courts, receiving the line of what the legal procedure is,” he explained.
