“The imperialists and the lords and ladies of war know that it's going to cost them a lot here in Venezuela because this is a humble, very humble people, this is a peaceful, very peaceful people, but this is a people that has been preparing conscientiously, has been preparing actively, has been preparing on all fronts, to resist for as long as necessary the attacks they want to carry out on our country.”

This was stated by the sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, during the oversight and deployment of the Management Body for Integral Defense (ODDI) of the states of La Guaira and Carabobo, carried out in the coastal entity.

Cabello highlighted the level of preparation that has been built in the country. “They are deployed throughout the state of La Guaira in all peace quadrants with very clear objectives; in institutions, in organizations, in public services such as the airport, such as ports. As in the customs office, in the old tollbooth, in charge of military units, community stations, today there are more than 20 community stations connected at this time broadcasting this exercise,” he stressed.

He recalled that this activation is part of Operation Independence 200 ordered by President Nicolás Maduro in the face of the aggressions of North American imperialism and the threat against national sovereignty.
