The sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that the State security forces took appropriate actions to prevent a new attack on the results transmission system of the National Electoral Council (CNE).
In that regard, he indicated that just as the extremist right is preparing to sabotage elections, the State is working to guarantee electoral security.
He specified that, thanks to the signals sent by the right, the security forces were anticipating a possible attack, since “we have a special team in the CNE to prevent sabotage, at least in the transition that was where they attacked last time.”
Cabello reiterated that more than 400,000 officials from the different security forces are deployed on the streets to keep the peace.
