The sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to the attention of all communities affected by the intense rains that fell in the region of Los Andes.

“Nobody should feel abandoned, no, no, here is a work team formed, as you (President Nicolás Maduro) say, by the popular union, where they give us information and the Government makes decisions, while our Armed Forces and police agencies guarantee peace and tranquility in this axis,” said the Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace from the Portuguese state.

Cabello estimated that the effects on crops go a little more than 6,000 hectares.

“It's no small thing the effects on all the states of Venezuela that I wrote to you remember that this wave was going to the West of the country and it was indeed strong and we still have 37 of these tropical waves that must pass through Venezuela,” he said.
