“They have no idea who they're going to face, it doesn't cross their minds who they're going to face, we're going to eat him alive, but here in Venezuela they're not going to be able to the people of Venezuela, they're not going to be able to our people,” said Diosdado Cabello Rondón, the sectoral vice-president for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace.
From Piar Square in the city of Maturín in the state of Monagas, where he checked and supervised the deployment of the Integral Defense Management Bodies of this entity and of the states of Anzoátegui and Bolívar, the Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace highlighted the fierceness demonstrated by the Venezuelan people in their struggle for territorial integrity throughout their history.
“How much did it cost the Spaniards to take the Caracas Valley in the face of Guaicaipura? 70 years! 70 years of struggle and what our original people put was their chest and soul and their courage and their dignity,” he recalled.
In this regard, he warned that if imperialism dared to invade the Venezuelan dream “it will take a year, two years to 10, but whoever sets foot in our Homeland must know that the response of our people will be until we kick them out, until we defeat them, until Venezuela feels free again.”
“It is important for the world to know that we are a small country, small in size, in number of population, we are a humble people, we don't think we are superior to anyone else, we don't practice supremacy, we are far removed from those messages of some people who think they are superior to others, we are a humble, simple people, but they must also be clear that we are a people with superior dignity,” he stressed.
