The sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted the courage of the Venezuelan people in defending their sovereignty.
During the graduation ceremony of the Special Revolutionary Operators Course (COER), aimed at men and women from the different State Security Bodies, he recalled that “when this country comes into a dispute with someone it's not for three days, but ask the Spaniards. And what happened at the end of that battle and that war? Who came out triumphant and who had to get out of here? This is the history of this town.”
Cabello applauded the tenacity of the participants, who did not give up on the demands of the course, placing special emphasis on classmates over 50 years of age. “Be proud boys, girls; here is a 55-year-old classmate who finished the course; they didn't give him anything,” he said.
In this sense, he expressed his pride to the graduates, while inviting them to be multipliers of the lessons learned.
“We ask them to be multipliers in their units, in the institutions to which they belong, so that the recruitment process, instead of 800, could reach a thousand,” he said.
He also stressed the importance of defending the national territory to give boys and girls a free, sovereign and independent homeland. “May the entire Venezuelan territory continue to be Venezuelan,” he said.
