Minister Clara Vidal: Indigenous people are exercising and demonstrating true democracy

From the Cachama indigenous community in the state of Anzoátegui, the Minister for Indigenous Peoples, Clara Vidal, highlighted the commitment of indigenous peoples to democracy on this election day that is taking place in the country.

“The indigenous population is exercising and demonstrating true democracy, actively participating in this process that strengthens our identity and sovereignty,” Vidal said.

In addition, the owner of the indigenous portfolio emphasized the importance of the Bolivarian Revolution in protecting the rights of these communities.

“Our commitment is absolute to indigenous communities, to the homeland and to the Bolivarian Revolution. Along with our indigenous brothers and sisters, we continue to move forward with loyalty and firmness in building a more just country,” he added.
