The Minister of Popular Power for
Tourism, Daniella Cabello, held a working meeting via videoconference
with representatives of the Chambers of Tourism from all the states of the country, with the objective of advancing
the consolidation of Venezuela as a multi-destination.
According to information from the Ministry
of Tourism, during the meeting, Cabello highlighted that it was held to
listen to those who know first-hand the potential and challenges that
exist in terms of tourism in each region.
“Each state has a unique identity:
coasts, mountains, plains, jungles, cities, towns, cuisine, traditions and
experiences that make up the enormous diversity that Venezuela offers to
national and international tourists,” he added, noting that
national tourism development is built from each region.
He also stressed that working together
is key for each region to find a path to sustainable
economic growth in tourism. In addition, he stressed that the Ministry of Tourism
will follow up on the proposed proposals, through
permanent working tables, in order to convert the potential of each state into concrete
experiences for visitors.
Es important to highlight that this space made it possible to coordinate efforts between the public and private sectors to accompany Tourism Service Providers, promote new products and generate opportunities for development and well-being in local communities.
