Minister Diosdado Cabello: The Ecuadorian government is controlled by mafias

The Sectorial Vice President for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted the participation of foreign citizens in the terrorist acts unveiled in the country and, especially, during electoral processes.

In this regard, he assured that, as in July 2024 during the presidential elections, in the recent electoral process, citizens from the United States, Ecuador, Spain, Argentina, Uruguay and Peru were arrested, while adding that they are linked to drug trafficking.

With regard to the participation of Ecuadorian citizens in actions that threaten peace in Venezuela, Cabello said that the government of that country “is controlled by mafias” and added that these groups “don't care what happened to drugs, they care about their money and they are going to claim and in the claim they get involved with all these extremist groups and pay here and pay there; this is a great operation that has been dismantled in Venezuela ”.
