Minister Diosdado Cabello: We form a police force that is getting closer to the people every day

The Minister of Popular Power for Relations, Interior, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reiterated the commitment of the national Government to training police officers in values.

“At the National Experimental Security University (UNES), we strive to ensure that every day the training of civil servants is increasingly comprehensive, more humane, each day closer to the people,” he stressed during his speech at the ceremony to hand over resources to strengthen the Bolivarian National Guard, the Bolivarian National Police Corps, Firefighters and Civil Protection, led by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

“People should feel that they are their police,” he said, stressing the importance of consolidating the new security doctrine based on co-responsibility. “We must achieve this merger of the people with their police,” he said.
