Minister Jorge Márquez supervised rehabilitation in Zulia on Line 1 Tablazo—Cuatricentenario

The People's Power Minister for Electric Energy, Jorge Márquez, supervised this Friday, February 21, the rehabilitation work being carried out on Transmission Line 1, Tablazo — Cuatricentenario at 400 kV, located at the crossing of Lake Maracaibo, Zulia state.

The work, carried out by the workers of the National Electricity Corporation (CORPOELEC), included the rehabilitation of the towers and the replacement of the driver in this important transmission line of the western entity, this ministerial body reported in a note published on its website.

During the tour, the also Sectorial Vice President of Public Works and Services, accompanied by the president of CORPOELEC, José Luis Betancourt, highlighted the importance of these works that seek to strengthen the service in the state of Zulia.

“This work that you are doing is very important for Zulia and for our country (...) God give me many blessings and a lot of security up there for everyone. Blessings to all,” he said.

For their part, the workers were grateful for the minister's visit to the entity, while carrying out the high-caliber maneuvers on Transmission Line 1, at a height of 140 meters.

In this regard, Márquez emphasized that CORPOELEC works hard to offer quality service to the Venezuelan people and contribute to the integral development of the nation. “We are working hard and have no doubt that we are going to do it. We are moving forward,” while urging workers to continue contributing their “efforts to push this country forward.”

“A lot of development, a lot of wealth, a lot of production awaits Venezuela and for that it requires us, the most important company in this country, which is CORPOELEC,” he added.

These actions are part of the guidelines of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, to guarantee an optimal and quality service for the Venezuelan people.
