Minister Lotartaro: More than 5,336 youth assemblies are being held across the country for the Consultation

The Minister of Popular Power for Youth, Sergio Lotartaro, stressed that this Saturday more than 5,336 assemblies are being held across the country ahead of what will be the Popular Youth Consultation on July 27.

“We are already in the second phase, which are the Assemblies by Commune and Community Circuit; more than 5,336 are being held today across the country,” he said.

He stressed that these meetings are held to choose the seven final projects that will be elected in the Consultation of 27J.

He also praised the commitment of community spokespersons to provide support to the country's young people by holding popular assemblies.

“After these assemblies comes the great campaign that we call 'The backpackers for the youth communa' (...) and this is the youth falling in love with the entire community so that this election of the Popular Consultation is the most voted,” he said and thanked President Nicolás Maduro for having elected the youth to hold the first sectoral consultation in the country.
