Minister Menéndez: More than 6 million people participated in the Mass Planning Training Plan

The sectoral vice-president of Planning, Ricardo Menéndez, specified that more than 6 million 440 thousand people participated in the Mass Training Plan in Popular Planning.

In a statement to Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), he said that “we have had a day where we are already reaching the cumulative number of six million 440 thousand participants”.

He added that more than 16,000 people joined the recent Oleada Training and Labor Inclusion workshop in the Construction Sector.

Menéndez stressed that the central objective of the Mass Training Plan is to promote a national strategy to increase the levels of labor formality in the Venezuelan economy and provide concrete tools to workers.

The days in question form a national strategy for increasing formalization in the Venezuelan economy. At this point, he explained that, with the economic growth registered after the COVID 19 pandemic, formality rates rose to 58%.

“The goal is that with an increase in formality we can improve the physical conditions, the objective conditions of each of the workers,” he said.
