The Minister of Education, Héctor Rodríguez, reiterated that the enrollment process in schools and high schools must remain active all year round to guarantee training for young people and children who are returning to the country.

According to a press release from the Education Department, he asserted that in Miranda alone, about 1,500 students have returned to the country, mostly without identification documents, and that they must return to classes. For this, he instructed that the young person be evaluated, included in a grading classroom and then incorporated into the corresponding system.

On the other hand, the minister stressed that the education system must have, for its proper functioning, a teacher for every 20 students and a worker (mother or father cook, worker, among others) for every 30 students.

Rodríguez also pointed out that it remains a priority to build a methodology to know how many students outside the school system to look for in each territory, in order to incorporate them.

He insisted on the need to move from the mosaic schedule to the full schedule and confirmed that 94% of schools are already meeting this objective.

The head of Education said that alternatives must be evaluated for schools to work, regardless of the economic system in Venezuela that is still in recovery.
