Minister Padrino López: Canonization of our saints is a time of God for Venezuela

The Sectorial Vice President of Defense and Sovereignty, G/J Vladimir Padrino López, this Sunday, October 19, sent a message to the Venezuelan people, in which he stressed that the canonization of Dr. José Gregorio Hernández and Mother Carmen Rendiles, “is not just a religious act: it is a kairos, a time of God for Venezuela”.

On the Telegram social network account, the Ministry of People's Power for Defense published the full message of Minister Padrino López.

The letter states the following:

Dear brothers and sisters:

Receive this message with hearts filled with divine gratitude. We are living in a time of grace in which the sky tilts over our Homeland. The canonization of Dr. José Gregorio Hernández and Mother Carmen Rendiles is not just a religious act: it is a kairós, a time of God for Venezuela.

More than a recognition, it is a prophetic message of peace. In a world fragmented by the culture of waste, these two saints show us the path of the culture of encounter: he, healing with love; she, educating in truth and charity.

In the face of threats that attempt to break our unity, heaven grants us a spiritual shield: an armor of faith that strengthens our mission to defend independence and preserve the integrity of the Fatherland.

May the peace that dwelt in your hearts, that peace that surpasses all understanding, be poured out on Venezuela and on the entire world.

Our faith is a historic force that drives us to serve with honor, hope and unwavering commitment.

With God and Our Lady, always faithful. We will win!
