The sectoral vice-president of Defense and Sovereignty, G/J Vladimir Padrino López, emphasized that after the events of January 3, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) has its “ military honor intact, our dignity intact.”

In this regard, during the Award for Military and Non-Military Personnel who participated in the defense of the Homeland on January 3rd , he confirmed that the institution will continue to exercise its leadership in the destinies of the Fatherland, with stability and progress, in the midst of a new national and international reality .

“The FANB will continue to fulfill its national task of maintaining stability and progress in the midst of a new reality,” he said, reaffirming that the institution's internal leadership is guaranteed by the quality, integrity and loyalty demonstrated by its leaders.

He also highlighted the courage and performance of military personnel during the events of January 3, when officers and non-commissioned officers assisted the injured and complied with the corresponding protocols in extreme conditions, including debris and debris from bombing.

In addition, he also highlighted the operational readiness of the combat pilots, who were ready to respond to threats to air sovereignty, as part of the comprehensive defense of national space.

Padrino López pointed out that, within the framework of the Ayacucho Plan, the FANB is progressing in review and adaptation processes to strengthen itself in the face of military threats and the new global geopolitical situation, while calling for maintaining spiritual strength and institutional commitment to continue working for the Fatherland.
