Minister Prado: Today we have campuses for young people to be trained in communes

The Minister of Popular Power for the Communes, Ángel Prado, celebrated the inauguration of the National University of the Communes (UNACOM), a space where young people can be trained to contribute to the country's economic development.

“Today we have university campuses, today we have this headquarters so that young people from all over the country nominated by the communes come (...) to educate themselves and become professional in the different challenges that communes have in the productive field, in education, in the development of science and good in popular organization,” said the Minister during the inauguration of UNACOM.

In this regard, he reaffirmed that the professionals trained in these spaces will serve to contribute to the economic development of the country from agricultural production, but also from service in tourism and other matters.

“There is a girl who is enthusiastically invited by the commune that today they already have their university,” she said and noted that now the objective is for there to be a university nucleus for each commune throughout the country.

Commander Hugo Chávez's dream is being fulfilled,” he said, congratulating all those who will be in charge of this new training space.
