The minister of popular power for Communes, Social Movements and Urban Agriculture, Angel Prado asserted that “we are not going to let ourselves be robbed of our natural wealth”.

This was stated in a mobilization recorded this Wednesday, January 7, in the city of Caracas, by the country's community members who demand that the Government of the United States (USA) release the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro and his wife, the first lady, Cilia Flores.

In his words, he added that he trusts that the President in Charge, Delcy Rodríguez, will carry out the responsibility of continuing the Bolivarian Government. “So, with Nicolás at the helm, we with Delcy in Miraflores, we with the communes, we will continue to defend the homeland of Bolívar and Chávez, we will continue to consolidate the communes and, above all, we will continue to deny the possibility of any foreign government coming to govern us,” he said.

I specify that “we want to tell the world: in Venezuela popular power governs, in Venezuela Maduro governs, in Venezuela the worthy sons and women of Bolivar and Chávez govern,” he said, pointing out that only Chavism rules in the country.”

He pointed out that “we are not renouncing socialism, we will continue from the neighborhoods and from the fields building the Bolivarian historical project”.
