Minister Rodríguez inspected school in Ciudad Caribia affected by earthquakes

Rodríguez said that the squad will be intervened through the resources provided by CONMEBOL and expressed his gratitude

The Minister of Popular Power for Education, Héctor Rodríguez, inspected this Friday, August 28, an educational unit in Ciudad Caribia that suffered various damages due to the earthquakes of last June 24.

Through his Instagram account, he explained that two of the three modules of the building have minor damage and are being repaired, while the third had major damage.

“Here in Ciudad Caribia, the module that has the greatest impact is not going to be ready by September 14, so we are rezonating another school that we have in Ciudad Caribia so that on September 14 everyone will start classes,” he explained.

Rodríguez announced that the squad will be intervened through the resources provided by the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) and expressed his gratitude.

In addition, he commented that this funding will make it possible to recover this and another institution in Ciudad Caribia.

The minister briefly took stock of the educational institutions impacted by the earthquakes, including 11 collapsed schools, 80 with structural failures and 900 with minor damage that are being treated.

He assured that they remain deployed working with the objective of improving the entire educational infrastructure and education in the country.
