This Friday, June 12, the working groups of the Presidential Commission for the Restructuring and Reengineering of the Government, La Guaira chapter, began their activities, in response to the instructions of the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.
This commission aims to submit proposals to the National Executive, through consultation and public debate, that allow for institutional transformation and the path to building a more efficient State, reported Venezolana de Televisión.
The activity was led by the Minister of Popular Power for Education, Héctor Rodríguez, which began with a plenary session where the member of the La Guaira chapter commission, Marcos Meléndez, explained the general principles and strategic lines.
For his part, the governor of the entity, José Alejandro Terán, indicated the formation of four Working Groups for the discussion: Institutional Reorganization; Economy and Investment Encouragement; Transparency, Participation and Social Comptroller; Efficiency and Simplification.
The panels were composed of businessmen representing public institutions, deputies, legislators, youth and community organizations, and representatives of the National Experimental University of Greater Caracas (UNEXCA); the National Experimental Polytechnic University of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (UNEFA) and the Maritime University of the Caribbean were present .
In his speech, Meléndez indicated that “the purpose is to discuss the progress made throughout the country in the reorganization and simplification of procedures, simplification of care for services and the interconnection between public power and citizens. In other words, the ability to respond in an automated, fast, efficient, transparent and participatory manner is increasingly a reality.”
“From La Guaira we are giving our contribution, indications and our commitment to efficiency and to the institutional reengineering of our Government,” he said.
Work is also being done on the production of the first rapporteurs to feed the report that will be submitted to the Secretariat of the National Commission.
