Minister Rodríguez: Start of classes accounted for 50% of student enrollment

The Minister of Popular Power for Education, Héctor Rodríguez, offered an assessment of the start of school activities this Tuesday, January 07, in the second pedagogical phase of the 2024-2025 school year. He explained that this Tuesday at the start of classes, there is a presence of 50% of the student population, which is expected to increase gradually .

At a conference with the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, he explained that up to the month of September the number of educational establishments in optimal conditions and rehabilitated stands at 373, to which today there are 102.

“470 institutions are still being recovered and 500 more are being selected to recover the entire educational infrastructure of the country and also maintain it,” he said.
