Minister Velázquez Araguayán urged strengthening a sustainable economy based on “blue Venezuela”

This Thursday, December 4th, the Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Ramón Velázquez Araguayán, highlighted the importance of strengthening a sustainable economy based on the rational use of maritime resources, a strategic vision known as Venezuela Azul, referring to the need to join efforts between the public and private sectors to promote this development.
“We have to guide everything that is the development of our economy to a true rational and sustainable use (...) with the coordination of public entities and the private sector (...) to ensure that the policies for the development of our Blue Venezuela are rational and with a guiding thread of what is the objective we must achieve,” said Velázquez at the National Water Space Council of the Venezuela Transport Expo 2025.
During his speech, he indicated that these policies “must be adopted by all of Venezuela”, because almost 90% of maritime spaces correspond to continental spaces.
This Venezuela Transport Expo 2025 takes place in Simon Bolivar Park, at the Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda Air Base from December 04 to 07, a space where innovation, mobility and the country's strategic vision come together.
