The Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, toured the rooms of the National Autonomous Center for Cinematography (CNAC), in Caracas, where he noted the progress made in the learning workshops offered by the institution in its third training cycle.
According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the president of the CNAC, Carlos Azpúrua, who was also present at the activity, highlighted that these learning experiences to date have more than 1,500 beneficiaries.
During his tour of the “Jacobo Penzo” and “Edmundo Aray” rooms of the CNAC, the minister shared his reflections on the importance of deepening training and the development of skills and abilities.
“There are people who are born with talents and that is very important. In Venezuela we have a lot of talent, but talent is not enough on its own; it has to be accompanied by training to achieve excellence and here we have an exhibition at the National Autonomous Center of Cinematography, of the workshops that have been held for young and not so young people who want to complement their talent in the audiovisual arts and in everything related to cinema,” he said.
For his part, Carlos Azpúrua emphasized that the CNAC has become “a learning space, with three rooms equipped for workshops of various specialties and we are pleased to see the CNAC full of students. This is an institution that belongs to our young filmmakers and it's extraordinary to see how national cinematography is being formed.”
