The condition of the Rare Book Room, the newspaper library and other documentary treasures of the National Library is in excellent condition.

This was reported by the Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, through the social network Instagram, while highlighting the corrective and preventive measures taken by workers to prevent damage to historical documents in this area.

In addition, he indicated that “the enormous air conditioning system of the Liberator Forum, where the National Library is based, has been completely renovated,” in addition to reporting that the recovery work was carried out under the instructions of President Nicolás Maduro.
