Minister Yvan Gil oversees the area of regenerative medicine at the IVIC

This Tuesday, the Minister of People's Power for Science and Technology, Yván Gil, paid a supervisory visit to the spaces of regenerative medicine at the Venezuelan Institute for Scientific Research (IVIC).

From his digital channels, he explained that “today we visited the Venezuelan Institute for Scientific Research (IVIC), its laboratories, research areas and training spaces. During the visit, we learned about the work being carried out in regenerative medicine, agricultural biotechnology and microbiology, as well as the training programs for researchers that are being carried out at the Center for Advanced Studies.”

He added that within the framework of Plan Venezuela Renace, “we promote the revival of Venezuelan science and technology, aimed at responding to the needs of the country and contributing strategically to its economic development.”

In that regard, he added that Venezuela has researchers, talent, infrastructure, equipment and, above all, the will and commitment of its scientific community.

“From the Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology, and following the guidelines of the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, we put all this potential at the service of the scientific and technological future of Venezuela,” he concluded.
