Minister Yván Gil praised the world's Indigenous Peoples in his day

The Minister of Popular Power for Science and Technology, Yván Gil, praised the world's original communities this Sunday, when the International Day of Indigenous Peoples was celebrated, on August 9.

Through his Telegram channel, Gil stressed that “this date is not simply symbolic: it is a reminder that we must ratify their rights to land, to self-determination, to their identity and to their languages”.

In addition, he highlighted the importance of “recognizing and returning to the wisdom of our ancient peoples in the fight for the care and future of nature and of all of Pachamama”.
