Ministers agree to reorganize circuits to reach 5,000 communes

The ministers that make up the social cabinet agreed to reorganize and validate the communal circuits with a view to achieving the consolidation of 5,000 communes by 2026, said the sector's vice-president for the area, Héctor Rodríguez.

Also, as Rodríguez explained, they approved accelerating the territorialization plan for the six Great New Generation Missions, which includes: Forming teams in communal circuits, forming the vanguard at the national level and organizational meetings in communities.

In addition, according to a press release released by the Ministry of Education, the conceptual, programmatic and infrastructure proposal of the University of the Communes will be designed, as well as accelerating the reform process of the 5 laws of People's Power and the National Budget Law.

It is important to note that the Venezuelan head of state, Nicolás Maduro, instructed ministers and vice-presidents this Monday to give more prominence to Venezuelan families, through the formation of more communes, to “achieve the Communal State”.

“All plans must be based on the territory to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development in our communities,” he said.
