Ministries of Science and Ecosocialism join the revision of the 7-T Plan

The sectoral vice-president for Science, Technology and Health, Gabriela Jiménez, held a meeting with the Minister for Ecosocialism, Ricardo Molina, to review the action plan for the Seven Transformations guided by President Nicolás Maduro.

Through a message published on her Telegram channel, the Minister of Science and Technology, also reported that they are making progress in the special revision of the sixth Transformation, focusing on consolidating ecosocialism as a civilizational model with a nationalist identity

“Ecosocialism in Venezuela is more than an economic and productive model, it is our horizon for a civilizational model, which seeks harmony between nature and the human being,” he said.

Also, according to a Mincyt press release, Jiménez explained that “this model is based on respect for natural cycles and on the sustainable use of natural resources.”

The implementation of ecosocialism is part of a national effort to rethink science and technology in Venezuela, reorganizing productive capacities to face current challenges, promoting more equitable and sustainable development that prioritizes the well-being of the population and the protection of the environment

“Science must pay tribute to the rationality of life, coexistence and complementarity,” he concluded.
