Ministry for Science and Technology opens center in Ocumare del Tuy

This Friday, the Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology inaugurated a center on Dr. Obdulio Álvarez street in the Centro Unido Lander commune in Ocumare del Tuy, Tomás Lander municipality in Miranda state.

The space has a methodological planning that integrates disciplines such as science, technology, chemistry and physics. Its capacity is designed to train about 30 boys and girls per week, ensuring dynamic and personalized learning for children's leisure and educational training, according to the local press.

The governor of the entity, Elio Serrano Carpio, said that “talking about science and technology in our territories is no longer a luxury or a promise for the future; it is a reality of the present and a guarantee of independence”.

He explained that the new training center will operate permanently during the month of August, emphasizing that this core is equipped to promote robotics, physics, chemistry and technological innovation since childhood, encouraging critical thinking in the region.
